A place of Serenity

Get to that soulful place that brings you complete serenity; that place that allows you to breathe freely.  Find the spot that allowed you to create something beautiful, to feel so relaxed that you wanted to eat, drink and breathe in this environment.  Never escape an opportunity to find yourself there.

When was the last time you recharged in peace? Where is the place that doesn't resonate judgement, criticism or  condemnation?  Recognize that place and dig into that space....visit that scene often.  Meditate in that realm consistently.

Keep lifting yourself to a place of your highest expression and emptying your legacy into the earth.  Peaceful Blessings on your journey!

Be on Purpose

Are you reaching? Are you feeling a pull in a higher direction for your life? Don't shrug off your intuition and leave your life to chance.  There are greater things which you must achieve and you know the direction that leads you there.  Don't settle for the status-quo or the 'I'm doing okay right here' voice that continues to play in your head.

Forget about how others are waiting to critique you; you are the student and life is the teacher. Bring all that you have to the classroom and go with the flow of the task within your soul.  Express in whatever manner allows that surrender.  It might be a song, a dance, a painting, a speech, a faster speed on the track.....only you know what that liberation will feel like...only you know what it looks like and sounds like.

Guess what? We want to experience it also.  Don't be afraid to be YOU ~ to express the YOU that was created in the beginning.......Don't you dare leave here without leaving that part of YOU! - Blessings on your journey!

Seeing the extraordinary through the heart

Love allows us to see the 'extraordinary' in the ordinary things of life. When your heart is open, your vision changes. The smallest deeds performed with all of your heart, is worth far more than a larger deed performed with no heart in it at all. Be Open to releasing the beauty of the change you wish to see in the world.

You get to determine the level of joy or despair that you invite into your life. When a door has closed, recognize the next opening. Accept what is/has been and transition, with great expectancy to the next chapter. Every ending prompts a new beginning. Align your spirit with Joy and Love and rest there. Open your heart to the very best and the best will always appear.

Living a conscious life with 'Intention'

I'm happy to be living in a state of 'awareness' where truth and intention rules my day.  The consequences are my responsibility when I take full authority over the choices I make in my life.  I no longer am concerned about regrets, because I am co-creating the events and outcomes, by my choices.  I don't have a timetable for the delivery of these outcomes, but I am responsible for the seeds planted for my harvest.

I am choosing the very best on my journey now, therefore the outcomes are received as the best offering for my life's journey, and I accept them with understanding as they arrive.

May you remain conscious, stable, clear-minded and sober with each choice you make in your life.  You can't blame anyone for the consequences of the choices you make.  You should pause and reflect on the potential outcomes and possibilities of each decision and be prepared to be the responsible party for the harvest.

Live a life filled with 'Intention'......live a life filled with awareness, so that you might be at peace as you journey and fulfill your purpose in love and beauty...and come to experience a life filled with contentment and a peace that passes the understanding of those who are not yet aware.  Live on purpose for your purpose, with the will to serve your highest calling.

Occupy your heart today and everyday!

Occupy your heart today and enjoy the beauty that will start to flow. Joy, love, hope and beauty flows outwardly to everything and everyone that comes into contact with you.  Occupy a place that will instruct you in the things that will create joy and happiness for your life.  Occupy your heart, so you're never left wondering which way you should go or having to consult someone when the answers will be lying in wait, but only if you're occupied and listening.

Many causes during the day will grab our attention and this is normal, but never lose sight of the core and the soul of your being, where all of the answers of your passions, your natural giftings and answers lie. Occupy your heart for gladness, compassion, strength, forgiveness, clarity, love......for life!.....Occupy your heart today......Occupy with attentiveness and move in the direction of the heart's spirit, living out your very best and bringing gladness to a world that's waiting for you!

Wake Up

As I journey through this realm of existence, I notice that the world is sleepwalking. The majority of the planet has not yet awakened to the real meaning of this life.  We are dancing to the beat of our egos and suffering distress because of the demands of what will never be accomplished outside of coming back to the very core of our being.
Most people are not satisifed with who they are. They aren’t happy with their hair color, height, nor any of their physical attributes.  Advertisers and media have heightened the demands of the ego and caused so many to feel ‘less than’ because it drives one into a state of insecurity.
Once you recognize that depresssion and unhappiness are simple manifestations of a deeper longing, you will instead, try to identify the void which contributes to this longing and not external fixes, which will eventually have to constantly be upgraded.
Tap into the reality that you are loved exactly the way that you are.  You are LOVE manifested in your expressions of whatever your soul longs to share.  If you hear a song in your heart, you must sing it. If your hand twitches to paint, then add color to a canvas.  The voids that you are experiencing are ‘longings’ to return to who you are at a deeper level and to connect with the source of creation and Love.
Wake up and move in the direction of never-ending satisfaction. Move in the direction where the alarm clock sounds and you awaken as a unique expressive being.  Wake up and say hello to the world…..say “I Get It……I’m Awake!”

Presidential Proclamation -- Women’s History Month, 2012

WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH, 2012
- - - - - - -
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION
As Americans, ours is a legacy of bold independence and passionate belief in fairness and justice for all. For generations, this intrepid spirit has driven women pioneers to challenge injustices and shatter ceilings in pursuit of full and enduring equality. During Women's History Month, we commemorate their struggles, celebrate centuries of progress, and reaffirm our steadfast commitment to the rights, security, and dignity of women in America and around the world.
We see the arc of the American story in the dynamic women who shaped our present and the groundbreaking girls who will steer our future. Forty-one years ago, when former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt confronted President John F. Kennedy about the lack of women in government, he appointed her the head of a commission to address the status of women in America and the discrimination they routinely faced. Though the former First Lady passed away before the commission finished its work, its report would spur action across our country and galvanize a movement toward true gender parity. Our Nation stands stronger for that righteous struggle, and last March my Administration was proud to release the first comprehensive Federal report on the status of American women since President Kennedy's commission in 1963. Today, women serve as leaders throughout industry, civil society, and government, and their outstanding achievements affirm to our daughters and sons that no dream is beyond their reach.
While we have made great strides toward equality, we cannot rest until our mothers, sisters, and daughters assume their rightful place as full participants in a secure, prosperous, and just society. With the leadership of the White House Council on Women and Girls, my Administration is advancing gender equality by promoting workplace flexibility, striving to bring more women into math and science professions, and fighting for equal pay for equal work. We are combating violence against women by revising an antiquated definition of rape and harnessing the latest technology to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, and sexual assault. From securing women's health and safety to leveling the playing field and ensuring women have full and fair access to opportunity in the 21st century, we are making deep and lasting investments in the future of all Americans.
Because the peace and security of nations around the globe depend upon the education and advancement of women and girls, my Administration has placed their perspectives and needs at the heart of our foreign policy. Last December, I released the first United States National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security to help ensure women play an equal role in peace-building worldwide. By fully integrating women's voices into peace processes and our work to prevent conflict, protect civilians, and deliver humanitarian assistance, the United States is bringing effective support to women in areas of conflict and improving the chances for lasting peace. In the months ahead, my Administration will continue to collaborate with domestic and international partners on new initiatives to bring economic and political opportunity to women at home and abroad.
During Women's History Month, we recall that the pioneering legacy of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers is revealed not only in our museums and history books, but also in the fierce determination and limitless potential of our daughters and granddaughters. As we make headway on the crucial issues of our time, let the courageous vision championed by women of past generations inspire us to defend the dreams and opportunities of those to come.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 2012 as Women's History Month. I call upon all Americans to observe this month and to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, 2012, with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities that honor the history, accomplishments, and contributions of American women. I also invite all Americans to visit www.WomensHistoryMonth.gov to learn more about the generations of women who have shaped our history.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this first day of March, in the year of our Lord two thousand twelve, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-sixth.
BARACK OBAMA
