Many have been quick to spew out negative venom regarding 27 year old musical star, Amy Winehouse, who was recently found dead in her London apartment (undetermined cause of death) simply because she struggled with drug addiction. They've decided that she wasn't talented musically and won't be a figure who is celebrated or deeply remembered in the musical world. I beg to differ.......Rewind 2008 to the Grammy's.....She was nominated in six categories and snagged five wins! The loss was to Herbie Hancock......so, don't waste your time trying to convince me that she wasn't in great company as a Major force in the music industry. She had a great message...a 'keepin' it real in life' message in her songwriting and she will most assuredly be missed by a throng of devoted fans. May you 'rest in peace' and may those who have not come to truly listen and appreciate your gift....may they now find time to rewind and 'catch up'................another gone too soon.....Thank You for your gift!
