Sometimes, you must simply 'Throw caution to the wind' and believe in the 'Power of Your Passion'

You know better than anyone else when you aren't following your passion and fully living out your dreams/potential.  Yes, it's safe for some to believe in the 'status quo' of remaining loyal in a place where your heart is dying.  Your heart, for the sake of this reminder, will be referenced as your passion, which has been planted by God.  There is freedom in following your passion, whereas, loyalty, for the sake of simply sticking it out or playing it safe, creates an environment of imprisonment.  Anyone can go through a routine........I'm not suggesting that you abandon 'real life' responsibilities recklessly, but I am suggesting that you start to listen to your heart and follow that passion at some point. Start slowly....but at least start.  For those who aren't sure what your passion is......try answering some of the following questions and start keeping a journal about the things that really make you the happiest.  There truly is 'Power in your Passion.'

Questions:
Do you consider what you do on a daily basis a job, career or a calling? If you received $50M, what would you do? What is your strength? What do you honestly love? What makes you smile....a LOT? What do you find yourself dreaming about? What do you lose track of time in? If you could change something, what would make you excited about getting out of bed? Are you presently living YOUR dream or someone else's? What will be written on your tombstone or spoken about you at the end of your life? What will someone remember about you?

Start keeping a journal of the little things that spark a bit of interest and cause a stir in your spirit.  Take notice of your natural talents..When was the last time you asked your closest friends what they thought you were really good at? Go back to your childhood and recall what you wanted to do/be when you grew up.  You're still breathing, so....You still have time to live out your passion.....there is 'Power in your Passion.'

Our Deepest fear.................

I discovered the book, 'A Return to Love,' by Marianne Williamson, shortly after its release and it literally turned my life inside-out.  It was a clear, simplified reminder to me of all the truths which I had somehow unlearned along the way, due to ego and the world.  Below is one of my favorite quotations from the book.  If you like the paragraph, you'll no doubt, love the book..  May you return to your original state of being....May you 'return to love' on your journey. Take notes from the children who are not afraid to Love

When a human is born, the emotional mind, the emotional body, is completely healthy.  Maybe around three or four years of age, the first wounds in the emotional body start to appear and get infected with emotional poison.  But if you observe children who are two or three years old, if you see how they behave, they are playing all the time.  You see them laughing all the time.  Their imagination is so powerful, and the way they dream is an adventure of exploration.  When something is wrong, they react and defend themselves, but then they just let go and turn their attention to the moment again, to play again, to explore and have fun again.  They are living 'in the moment.' They are not ashamed of the past; they are not worried about the future.  Little children express what they feel, and they are not afraid to love. (the mastery of love)

Perhaps, we as adults, should take careful notes from observing a young child or at least sit and try to recall the adventures and safety of our own childhood.  This is not to say that everyone honestly felt safe during their childhood, for reasons only you are aware of, but if you can recall laughing and playing and feeling uninhibited about life and love, go back to that time and recapture the essence and begin 'Living in the Moment' once again.

Expressing your full potential, is not just your right; it's your responsibility.  As long as you keep thinking in limited terms, disbelieving in the possibility of infinite possibility in your life, then you will never experience the miracles God has in store for you.  You will deny His gifts, taking on the ego's servitude instead.
